What change coaching is:

  • Completely customised to your goals and the areas most important to you – you choose the destination, you set the agenda for each meeting.

  • Grounded in evidence-based practices and proven techniques.

  • Focused on building and developing your skills, strengths, resilience and a change mindset.

  • Purposeful, outcome-orientated and adaptable - we find solutions to real-life situations, helping you to move beyond the things that are holding you back today.

What it isn't:

  • A friendly chat or a 'don't worry - be happy' course - we'll deal with the knotty and messy.

  • A prescriptive training course where how to change is 'taught' to you from text-book theory.

  • A rigid step-by-step process that ignores what works for you to take control of your change.

  • A consulting programme that solves everything for you without you needing to take part.

  • Based around unrealistic plans and 'ideal-world' scenarios - coaching in it's nature is challenging but we'll keep our focus on the achievable.

Who is it for?

Individual change coaching is specifically designed for leaders who initiate, direct or deliver change and appreciate that its the people factors that are crucial to success. You might be:

• A business leader, owner or founder of a start-up or scale-up

• A leader or sponsor of change initiatives 

• A director or manager of change programmes and projects

• A programme or project delivery team member 

• A change partner or beneficiary

 

It can also be highly beneficial for anyone who wants to better understand and apply the psychological aspects of change in their personal or working lives.

The process in more detail

Coaching is intensive and can often produce rapid results. Research shows that it’s possible to bring about lasting change in a small number of sessions (for the majority of people within five sessions or less). But if you need more time, coaching can evolve to support a longer change trajectory.

Here’s what you can expect from our time together:

How much does it cost?

Exploratory Meeting 

Our starting point is an initial 30-minute exploratory meeting. Think of this as a test drive, it’s designed to help you discover whether coaching is right for you.

Coaching Packs

If after our initial meeting we both feel that you would benefit from further coaching then you can choose between a pack of three, four or five sessions. These are 50-60 minutes held weekly or fortnightly depending upon schedules. The price for these coaching packages can vary according to location and other logistics, but will be discussed during our exploratory meeting.  

Remember that the process is active and experiential, and you’ll be asked if you’re comfortable to take activities and tasks away with you to work on between sessions.

Small print for all sessions: Payment is required at least 48 hours in advance. You can reschedule your coaching session up to 24 hours in advance, if however you simply don’t turn up on the day then the fee is non-refundable.
